  • Mahaska County Parks: Mahaska County has over 1,300 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies and parks to explore. The Mahaska County Conservation Board manages 20 separate parks, river accesses and wildlife areas with over six miles of maintained trails.
  • Playgrounds: Edmundson Park (1608 Edmundson Drive), Elementary School playgrounds(1801 Orchard Avenue), Grant Park (C Avenue East)
  • Roller Skating: Spinning Wheels Skate Center (1717 3rd Ave. East), call 641.673.4482 for hours and rates
  • Skate Park: Oskaloosa Urban Park, contemporary lighted concrete park, gazebo viewing area, open to the public, located on High Avenue East by Penn Central Mall
  • Sculpture Tour: The Oskaloosa Sculpture Tour is a function of Fine Arts and Cultural Events (FACE) of Mahaska County, a nonprofit that promotes the arts and artworks in and around Oskaloosa.
