Birds: Attracting and Feeding (Virtual Workshop)

January 12, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Attracting birds to your landscape or feeding birds that visit are popular hobbies many enjoy. Start the year off by learning more about attracting and feeding birds at a Zoom meeting by Mahaska County Master Gardeners on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 7 pm.

Zoom isn’t the ideal method for a workshop– but during COVID it is a way to meet without worrying about social distancing and disinfection of shared tools and materials. Additionally, it allows for us to learn with no parking issues, better view of the computer screen, individual volume control, casual dress, comfortable chairs, great choices in beverages and snacks during the presentations, all the while saving gas and commuting time!

To register for the zoom call Mahaska County Extension Office 641-673-5841 or email Suzette Striegel ( by Noon January 11. Those who register will receive a zoom link and handouts. More information about this and other horticulture events can be found at the Mahaska County Extension Office; 212 North I Street; Oskaloosa Phone 641-673-5841; and
