The Mahaska County Extension office is hosting “What’s Up Wednesdays” every Wednesday this spring (March – May). These informal conversations are open to the public and will take place between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. and be about various topics during the free lunch and learn. Bring your own lunch, have your questions answered, and join the conversation!
The specialists and staff scheduled for April are: April 3 Joy Rouse, Family Finance (Topics may include Family finance); April 10 Sara Sprouse, Nutrition and Wellness (Topics may include Food Safety, Food preservation & nutrition); April 17 Patrick Wall, Beef (all things beef related); and April 24 Rebecca Vittetoe Agronomist (Topics may include corn and soybean planting progress, weather conditions, and outlooks for 2019).
