    On Golden Pond is an American treasure. This tale of a single family and how they pull apart and find each other has been touching audiences for generations. Aging couple Ethel and Norman Thayer spend each summer at their home on a lake called Golden Pond, exploring their turbulent relationship with their daughter and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage.

    This presentation is supported by the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Iowa Arts Council and the Crane Group.
